I. QR. U: 전문연구요원, 출석, 그리고 신뢰 시스템
한 발 밖에서 보면 QR코드는 전문연 제도가 내포한 다층적 논의를 복무 관리의 신뢰도라는 지엽적 논의로 환원시켰다. 어느새 복무 관리가 잘 이루어지는 것이 결과적으로 전문연 제도 전체의 신뢰를 보장하는 것처럼 포장되었다. QR코드 시스템이 등장하면서 우리는 더 이상 전문연구요원의 “출석”이라는 개념이 대체 무엇을 의미하는지에 대해 논의하지 않는다. 대신, QR코드가 잘 작동하는지, 이것을 통해 전문연구요원의 존재를 증명해낼 수 있는지에만 집중하고 있다.
